Bill McCorkindale, the President of KING'S:

• is a decendant of a pioneer family, which has been in Guelph since 1828
• has 40 years of furniture finishing and manufacturing experience
• is an Honours Graduate with a Diploma of Technology in the Wood Products Technician Program from Conestoga College, Doon Campus
• spent 19 years with Simmons Canada, Elora Furniture Company, (then Little Folks Ltd.) starting as finishing supervisor and ultimately becoming General Manager for 5 years
• was the President of the Canadian Juvenile Products Association for one year, after serving as Vice President for two years
• purchased King's Carpentry in 1991, along with his wife, Linda, and two sons, who all have worked together to build the business
